The Cairngorms National Park Authority works to a set of policies and plans which provide guidance to its Board and staff to help them deliver its functions in accordance with its statutory duty and internally approved procedures.
The Cairngorms National Park Authority(CNPA) has a duty to produce a Corporate Plan every three years.
The CNPA Corporate Plan sets out how the Park Authority will allocate its resources and explains how it will help to deliver, with its partners, the Cairngorms National Park Partnership Plan and the Scottish Government’s Strategic Objectives.
Communicating with visitors, communities and stakeholders is vital for the work of the CNPA, and the Cairngorms National Park Authority Communications and Engagement Strategy guides that work. Our role is to raise the profile of the Park and create a connection and commitment to care for it with identified audiences so they actively support the Park and benefit from doing so.
Cairngorms National Park Authority Gaelic Language Plan was approved by Bord na Gaidhlig in March 2013. The Plan sets out how we will use Gaelic in the operation of our functions, how we will enable the uses of Gaelic when communicating with the public and key partners, and how we will promote and develop Gaelic. You can keep up to date with progress in the Plan’s annual progress reports.
