Welcome to the Cairngorms National Park Authority Web based Consultants Database.
With great diversity and volume of work, the National Park Authority is often required to be able to out-source for the skills and experience necessary to complete activities. This will in many cases be carried out through sub-contracting to an external supplier or consultant.
In order to ensure that we, the Authority, can locate these resources, we have initiated centralising of consultant details. This proactive system seeks to generate up-to-date and relevant information in a standard format, and to ensure transparency in how we source these service providers.
As a Consultant, registering on this web based database and taking advantage of the facility to periodically update your details will be the most effective way to ensure we consider you for work with the Park Authority. It is designed with a user friendly front-end to the system. You will have your own password and log on name, to be able to add on new skills and work completed, so that we can match you better with activities that we are undertaking.
This database is for both individual consultants, as well as organisations providing management, research and consultancy services. It is not a general services, supplier or procurement database, and as such we would discourage those organisations from registering here.
Realising that this will be a process of ongoing development, we will be refining and improving the system periodically and would welcome input/feedback from anyone using it.
