Getting Involved

The Cairngorms National Park aims to be a Park for All which is cared for by the people who live there and visit it. There are a number of ways for people to get involved in looking after the Park including:

  • responding to public consultations
  • joining one of the Advisory Forums
  • supporting the Local Biodiversity Action Plan programme
  • participating in the John Muir Award
  • volunteering with the National Trust for Scotland Mar Lodge Estate
  • taking part in our training courses
  • getting involved with your local community
  • attending one of the CNPA open evenings or meetings
