Up the Kilbo
The Kilbo path is an old route linking Glen Doll and Glen Prosen and is used by many people to access the Munros of Dreish and Mayar.
This photo post is at the edge of the Glen Doll forest and looks north over to the hills of Craig Mellon, Cairn Broadlands and Red Craig. The location for this photo post has been chosen to monitor the changes in the forest landscape, though if you keep your eyes open you might spot a golden eagle overhead. The forest was planted 1953 to 1963 and Forestry Commission Scotland are now working to better fit the forest into the landscape and increase biodiversity.
