The Northern Corries

One of the best places to get view of Cairngorm Mountain is from the shores of Loch Morlich and what a picture it makes. The water lapping around the stones at the loch edge, the light shimmering on the water (or the ice!), the caledonian pine woodland wrapping around the far shore and the shoulders of the mountain rising into the walls of the corries cut by ice and outlined by snow cornices in winter. This photo post will capture changes to ski infrastructure on the mountain and seasonal changes in snow lie and the loch itself. The photo post may also pick up changes in forest management.
