Title: Committee Membership

Purpose: 

To fill a vacancy on the Finance Committee. 

Recommendations 

That the Board: 

a) Approve Richard Stroud as a member of the Finance Committee; 

b) Ratify Bob Kinnaird as a member of the Cairngorms Local Outdoor 

Access Forum. 

Executive Summary 

The Finance Committee has 5 members – the departure of Bruce Luffman 
leaves a vacancy. To maintain a balance in terms of geography and 
experience, Richard Stroud is proposed as a replacement member. Under 
CNPA Standing Orders, appointments to Committees must be approved by 
the Board. 

While the CNPA membership of the Cairngorms Outdoor Access Trust is not 
governed by Standing orders, when a vacancy arose following the departure 
of Nonie Coulthard, the proposal that Bob Kinnaird be the replacement was 
approved through correspondence. This paper simply seeks formal 
ratification of that for the records.
