1. BMX / Pump track
2. Pro­vi­sion for camp­ing with tents (tour­ing caravans)
3. Com­munity-owned housing
4. Reduc­tion of speed­ing offences in vil­lage and Dru­muil­lie (use of chicanes?)
5. Small busi­ness units to attract new start-ups (pos­sible land at railway?)
6. Improve pave­ment access for wheelchairs/​buggies
7. Integ­rate and improve off road cycle paths and wood­land trails
8. Improve trans­port links – integ­rated buses and trains
9. Sort out car park­ing con­ges­tion (espe­cially lower Deshar/​Kinchurdy Rd & Church Drive)
10. Pub/​Social place to meet
11. New school and nurs­ery (com­munity build?)
12. Sheltered accom­mod­a­tion
13. Increase child­care facilities
14. Allow emer­gency access to Hall via new hous­ing devel­op­ment (via a locked barrier?)
15. Com­munity con­sulta­tion to agree use of Curl­ing Pond site
16. Com­plete safe foot­path between Spey Bridge and Nethy crossroads
17. Dog foul­ing on streets, moor and in woods
18. Improve inform­a­tion on loc­al employ­ment opportunities

MEDI­UM PRIORITIES

• Cut back growth on path to school
• More afford­able day­time events for the elderly
• Tidy up recyc­ling area
• Pic­nic area at Milton Park
• Invest­ig­ate use of HLH mobile skate park
• Work with rail­way to keep sta­tion look­ing nice eg paints/​plants/​flowers
• Expand volun­teer­ing groups
• Cre­ate an out­door bowl­ing green
• Sig­nage to alert re foot­balling on field
• Sup­port Boat Hotel to work with vil­lage more
• Reduce level of street lighting

LOW PRI­OR­IT­IES

• Park­ing for steam train at Golf Course (sig­nage)
• Red squir­rel trail
• Improve inform­a­tion for locals/​visitors eg What’s On
• Com­plete Sta­tion Square
• Improve look of sub­sta­tion railings
• Ark of Caledon
• Cull the crows
• Crazy Golf Course
• More flor­al displays
• Open air covered meet­ing place
• Pro­mote car sharing
• All weath­er strip behind foot­ball pitch for 5‑a-side, basketball

Notes a) Lists were cir­cu­lated after the meet­ing and achieved numer­ous sign ups from people will­ing to help with vari­ous pro­jects eg pump track, path to school, camp­ing, sig­nage etc. Fur­ther sign up oppor­tun­it­ies to list of pos­sible pro­jects to be cir­cu­lated via Google sign up/​word of mouth

b) Regard­ing com­munity-owned hous­ing, a fur­ther sep­ar­ate pub­lic con­sulta­tion of the com­munity will be required to take this forward.

c) Par­ent Coun­cil and Wee Bogies to look into pro­pos­al for improv­ing or expand­ing the play park facil­it­ies. Sign­post­ing for vis­it­ors also required at Craigie Aven­ue road end

d) All abil­it­ies path men­tioned as a pri­or­ity but not included on list, as Com­munity Com­pany and Com­munity Coun­cil are jointly pro­ceed­ing with this already

e) Group to recon­vene to look at sig­nage again in gen­er­al in the vil­lage, but also to con­sider some of the points raised on this at the Big Con­ver­sa­tion eg pub­lic toi­lets, park­ing for cycle shop users/​walkers/​steam train users, com­munity hall, play­ing field, play park, pos­sib­il­ity of foot­ball in road at Hall
