The East Cairngorms Moorland Partnership
The East Cairngorms Moorland Partnership (ECMP), set up in 2015, is formed of six upland estates and the Cairngorms National Park Authority. The partnership works together to contribute to the aims of the National Park through coordinated, responsible and sustainable moorland management.
Members are focused on restoring, managing and monitoring moorland habitats and species, while operating viable rural businesses and contributing to the green economy.
The partnership has the following objectives:
- Actively restoring habitats
- Improving conservation status of key species
- Gathering data and sharing evidence
- Raising awareness of moorland management
