Notes of Cairngorms Tourism Emergency Response Group Meeting

This document contains the notes from a Cairngorms Tourism Emergency Response Group meeting held on 4 May 2020. The meeting covered updates on business support, including challenges with the new Pivotal Enterprise and Creative, Tourism & Hospitality Industry Hardship Funds, as well as progress from Aberdeenshire and Highland Councils on grant applications. The group also discussed responses to an open letter, countryside management issues, consumer insights and research, and plans to prepare businesses to re-open. Finally, the Cairngorms National Park Authority (Park Authority) recovery plan was mentioned, and a promotional flyer for the Cairngorms Nature 10 day event was circulated, with the next meeting scheduled for 11 May.
