Tender opportunities
The Cairngorms National Park Authority works to deliver four key aims, as set out by the Scottish Parliament:
- To conserve and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of the area.
- To promote sustainable use of the natural resources of the area.
- To promote understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of the area by the public.
- To promote sustainable economic and social development of the area’s communities.
We regularly seek suppliers, consultants, and contractors to help us deliver projects that support these aims. Working with us means:
- Contributing to environmental protection, community development, and sustainable tourism.
- Partnering with a forward-thinking stakeholders and suppliers committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive procurement covering everything from large-scale peatland restoration to specialist ecological contracts like ant habitat surveys.
- Engaging in meaningful work that supports Scotland’s natural heritage and rural economy.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has issued a wildfire warning impacting areas of the National Park on Friday 29 May until Monday 1 June. If you are out and about in the Cairngorms National Park please observe the following guidance:
- Do not light any fire or barbecue, in line with the new fire byelaw
- Always ensure cigarettes are fully extinguished and take your litter (including glass) away with you
- Enjoy the outdoors responsibly - most wildfires are caused by human activity
- Stay alert - with dry vegetation and warm weather, fires can start easily, spread rapidly, and burn intensely
- If you see a wildfire, dial 999
