New and improved outdoor access section now live on CNPA website

22nd September 2006

The Outdoor Access section of the CNPA website has recently been redesigned and extended, and now offers several new pages and sections of extensive information on all aspects of outdoor access in the Cairngorms National Park.

People’s rights and responsibilities in the outdoors are explained along with the Park Authority’s role in upholding access rights in the area.

There is a section for the Cairngorms Local Outdoor Access Forum, including details about remit, membership, meetings, papers and minutes.

You can access comprehensive information about the on-going Core Paths Planning process. Maps and questionnaires for all communities in the Park are available for download, making it easy for everyone to get involved and provide their comments. Details of forthcoming core paths plan meetings can also be found in this section, along with feedback reports from previous events.

An online form is provided for reporting access issues such as locked gates, irresponsible behaviour and misleading signage. And there is an extensive list of links to other useful websites and resources.

Check out this new section here.
