Grant Moir, Chief Executive
Grant Moir, who grew up in Perthshire, joined the Cairngorms National Park Authority as Chief Executive in March 2013. Prior to that he spent seven years at the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority as Director of Conservation and Visitor Experience.
Before his work in Scotland’s two national parks, Grant worked in the Rural Affairs Department of the Scottish Executive. As well as overseeing the work of the Park Authority and advocating the work of the National Park, Grant sits on the National Visitor Management Group. He is also a member of the Scottish Government Biodiversity Programme Board and the Deer Strategic Board.
