Winning design for Bethany

Winning design for Bethany
A Grantown Grammar school pupil will soon have her design work on the world wide web, after winning a competition to design a logo for the ‘Young Cairngorms’ website.
The quality of entries for the logo competition was of a very high standard but second year pupil Bethany Wilson (13) from Grantown-on-Spey was named the winner. Bethany wins a £30.00 book token, which was presented to her by Cairngorms National Park Authority board member Andrew Rafferty.
Explaining the thinking behind her winning design Bethany said: “When I think of the Cairngorms I think of having fun and that to me means snowboarding. I think the snowboarder is a good representation of the ‘Young Cairngorms’ group.”
Presenting Bethany with her prize, Andrew Rafferty said: “I would like to congratulate Bethany on her winning design. It’s a very youthful, eye-catching image, just ideal for the ‘Young Cairngorms’ website.”
Bethany’s design will now get the professional design touch before being added to the ‘Young Cairngorms’ website www.youngcairngorms.com
