Core Paths Plan informal consultation summary

This document contains a summary of the informal consultation undertaken by the Cairngorms National Park Authority (Park Authority) to review the Core Paths Plan, which ran for three months in 2025. The consultation was promoted online, through stakeholders, and via various publicity channels. The Park Authority received 208 responses, mainly from Badenoch and Strathspey, with contributions from the public, landowners, community groups, and other organisations. The responses covered general comments, existing core paths, proposed additional core paths, and proposed amendments; key areas of interest included Nethy Bridge, Glenmore, and Kingussie, and all feedback will be reviewed and assessed, with the Local Outdoor Access Forum consulted, to then produce a Draft Core Paths Plan.
