CNPA Planning Committee Site Visit – 11 August 2023, 09:30am
Planning Application 2022/0305/DET — Erection of 21no dwellings at Nethybridge Station Yard Station Road Nethy Bridge.
Purpose
The purpose of this site visit is to help Planning Committee Members to understand the physical context of the site and the land it occupies. Information on the application submitted is available within the Committee Reports of 11 August 2023 which are available on the CNPA website.
Advice and requirements for the day:
- Follow the instructions of the Convenor and the Planning Officer leading the site visit.
- Read the Cairngorms Planning Advice Note ‘Planning Committee Site Visits’ a. http://cairngorms.co.uk/wp- content/uploads/2015/07/141204PANPlanningCommitteeSiteVisits.pdf
- A risk assessment has been prepared for the site visit and particular care is required by participants to ensure they are appropriately dressed for cold/wet weather.
- Planning Committee Members can travel together from the CNPA offices in Grantown-on-Spey at 9:15am or make their own arrangements for travel to and from the site visit.
- Members of the public must make their own arrangements for travel to and from the site visit. There are public car parks and on-street car parking in Nethy Bridge.
Itinerary 0930 – All site visit participants meet at the application site, off Station Road. The meeting point is identified on the location map on the following page and has a what3words reference of ///emeralds.liner.judges. The Planning Committee Convener and Planning Officer will lead the briefing for visit and safety briefing.
0935 – All site visit participants will view the site from meeting point Planning Officer will point out relevant features.
0940 (approx.) – Participants will then walk around the site. Planning Officer will point out relevant features.
0950 (approx.) — Site visit ends and planning committee members return independently to participate in Planning Committee meeting.
