  1. LOAF mem­bers are asked to review the draft doc­u­ment Inform­al con­sulta­tion sum­mary” in Appendix 1 and provide any feed­back or comments.
  2. Dis­cus­sion ses­sion – LOAF mem­bers are asked to provide thoughts and views on the key mat­ters of interest that have aris­en from the inform­al con­sulta­tion. These will be intro­duced via Power­Point present­a­tion dur­ing the meet­ing. Back­ground Core paths form a net­work of paths that should provide the pub­lic with reas­on­able and suf­fi­cient access through­out the Cairngorms Nation­al Park. The object­ives of core path net­work are that it will: a) help to con­serve the Park’s nat­ur­al and cul­tur­al her­it­age and encour­age people to enjoy it in a respons­ible way b) help those liv­ing and work­ing on the land man­age access c) help to deliv­er the pri­or­it­ies for each area iden­ti­fied in Act­ive Cairngorms d) provide for a wide range of activ­it­ies e) be access­ible to the widest pos­sible range of users f) include a wide range of pop­u­lar routes g) include paths with­in, around and between com­munit­ies and to pub­lic trans­port con­nec­tions and places of loc­al importance
