The Cairngorms Nation­al Park Author­ity has awar­ded £370,000 to 18 farm­ers, land man­agers, busi­nesses and com­munity groups to fund imme­di­ate and pos­it­ive action to address the chal­lenges of cli­mate change in the Nation­al Park.   • Wild­fire fog­ging unit to tackle wild­fires – Alvie & Dalraddy Estates, Alvie Part­ner­ship. Received £19,000.00.
  • Install­a­tion of sol­ar powered water pump for sup­ply for water to stead­ing drink­ing troughs – Clachaig Part­ner­ship, Nethy Bridge. Received £3,090.00.
  • Increas­ing PV sys­tem and cre­at­ing bat­tery stor­age sys­tem for PV gen­er­ated elec­tri­city — Russ­wood, New­ton­more. Received £26,400.00

  • Installing of PV sys­tem on Club­house – Kin­gussie Caman­ach Club, Kin­gussie. Received £19,350.00.
  • Wild­fire man­age­ment equip­ment and train­ing for staff – Nation­al Trust for Scot­land, Marr Lodge Estate. Received £14,000.00

  • Pur­chase of a heath­er cut­ter to enable a phase trans­ition away from burn­ing, help assist with wild­fire pre­ven­tion through the cre­ation of firebreaks Phoines Estate, New­ton­more. Received £6,000.00.

  • Enhance river­side biod­iversity and enhance the flood band resi­li­ence with ripari­an wood­land plant­ing – Bal­lie­furth, Nethy Bridge. Received £40,000.00
  • upgrade for extern­al light­ing to more energy effi­cient to com­plete the build­ing energy effi­ciency – Kin­craig Vil­lage Hall. Received £2,506.80
  • Tow n fert spread­er which breaks down any nitro­gen based fer­til­iser using water to fine particle form it is then applied as a liquid foli­ar applic­a­tion Culreach Farm, Nethy Bridge. Received £20,000.00.
  • Accel­er­at­ing Dal­nac­ar­doch Rewild­ing – Dur­rell Wild­life Con­ser­va­tion Trust Scot­land. Received £9,500.00.
  • Installing of PV sol­ar pan­els – Angus and Mack Ltd. Received £9,944.00.
  • Aid with the install­a­tion of air to water heat pump sys­tem, to trans­ition from elec­tric stor­age radi­at­ors to trans­fer heat from out­side air to water Land­mark, Carrr Bridge. Received £33,133.00
