This document contains important guidelines for visitors to the Cairngorms National Park, aiming to protect its natural beauty and ensure everyone can enjoy it responsibly. It asks people not to light fires or use barbecues between 1 April and 30 September to prevent wildfires, and to use gas camping stoves if they need to cook. Dog owners should keep their pets on a short lead from April to August, especially near ground-nesting birds and livestock. When camping, remember to leave no trace by staying away from buildings and paths, camping in small groups, and always taking all rubbish with you. If you need a toilet and there isn't one available, go at least 30 metres away from water sources, dig a hole for solid waste, and take your toilet paper with you. Finally, please respect other people and wildlife when enjoying the water, giving animals space and avoiding their nesting areas.
