Formal Board Paper 4 Annex 1 - Informal consultation summary

This document contains a summary of the informal consultation for the Cairngorms National Park Authority's review of its Core Paths Plan. From 29 May to 31 August 2025, the Park Authority gathered feedback through an online map, email, and direct engagement with various agencies, recreational bodies, and landowners. They received 208 specific responses, mainly from the public, offering comments on existing paths, suggesting new paths, and providing feedback on proposed changes. All this input will now be reviewed and used to create a Draft Core Paths Plan, which will then undergo a formal 12-week consultation in Spring 2026.
