How to make a submission

This document contains information about the Literary Landscapes Place Name Map, an online resource accessible through the National Park websites. This map lets people explore and record Scotland's place names and their history. Users, including school groups, can add information to the map by researching a place name, exploring the landscape, and then logging their findings using a data entry form. The form asks for details such as the theme of the place name (like folklore or animals), the name in Scots, Gaelic, or Doric, the English name, and a story about the name's origin. Users can also add a pin on the map, a photo or drawing, and a sound file of the name being pronounced.
