This document contains a planning application for the erection of seven houses, five of which are affordable, at Land 125M NE Of 4 Lettoch Road, Nethy Bridge in the Cairngorms National Park. The recommendation is to approve the erection of the houses subject to conditions being met, these conditions range from submitting a fully detailed layout and a woodland management plan. It was noted that there is a potential conflict between conserving the natural heritage of the National Park, and promoting sustainable economic and social development of the area's communities but giving more weight to the latter. The Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) notes that the site lies between Craigmore Special Protection Area (SPA) and Abernethy Forest SPA which are notified for their capercaillie interest.
