REF. PLANNING APPLICATION NUMBER 2019/0003/DET & 2019/0006/LBC
Conversion of School to 10 Dwellinghouses, Reinstatement of Schoolhouses to form 2 Dwellinghouses, Erection of 1 Dwellinghouse and 11 Flats (Affordable Houses), Formation of Car Park, Access and Alternations to Boundary Walls.
Ballater Old School, Abergeldie Road, Ballater
Ballater and Crathie Community Council are pleased to confirm support for both the above referenced Planning Applications for alterations and redevelopment to the Old School, Ballater.
Following discussions with Grampian Housing Association and members of the community the Community Council is satisfied that the matters of access, safety, amenity and density that were objected to within the previous submitted and approved plans (Application 2017/0284/DET and 2017/0285/LBC) have been addressed.
At a public meeting held on 26th November 2018 the Ballater and Crathie Community Council were presented with a letter containing signatures from 238 members of the Community giving support for Grampian Housing Association submitting this planning application.
A Representative from the Ballater and Crathie Community Council would request to speak at the forthcoming Planning Committee Meeting.
