REF. PLAN­NING APPLIC­A­TION NUM­BER 2019/0003/DET & 2019/0006/LBC

Con­ver­sion of School to 10 Dwell­ing­houses, Rein­state­ment of School­houses to form 2 Dwell­ing­houses, Erec­tion of 1 Dwell­ing­house and 11 Flats (Afford­able Houses), Form­a­tion of Car Park, Access and Altern­a­tions to Bound­ary Walls.

Bal­later Old School, Abergel­die Road, Ballater

Bal­later and Crath­ie Com­munity Coun­cil are pleased to con­firm sup­port for both the above ref­er­enced Plan­ning Applic­a­tions for alter­a­tions and redevel­op­ment to the Old School, Ballater.

Fol­low­ing dis­cus­sions with Grampi­an Hous­ing Asso­ci­ation and mem­bers of the com­munity the Com­munity Coun­cil is sat­is­fied that the mat­ters of access, safety, amen­ity and dens­ity that were objec­ted to with­in the pre­vi­ous sub­mit­ted and approved plans (Applic­a­tion 2017/0284/DET and 2017/0285/LBC) have been addressed.

At a pub­lic meet­ing held on 26^th Novem­ber 2018 the Bal­later and Crath­ie Com­munity Coun­cil were presen­ted with a let­ter con­tain­ing sig­na­tures from 238 mem­bers of the Com­munity giv­ing sup­port for Grampi­an Hous­ing Asso­ci­ation sub­mit­ting this plan­ning application.

A Rep­res­ent­at­ive from the Bal­later and Crath­ie Com­munity Coun­cil would request to speak at the forth­com­ing Plan­ning Com­mit­tee Meeting.
