Comment Details Commenter Type: Community Council Stance: Customer made comments neither objecting to or supporting the Planning Application Comment Reasons: Comment:Aviemore & Vicinity Community Council discussed the above application at our September meeting and decided on a neutral stance.
We would however like to raise the following points.
We felt the change from one large house from the existing consent to 3 smaller units does match the local housing and economic needs. We however felt that it was an overdevelopment for the size of the plot and acknowledge that neighbours opposite could feel overlooked. We felt the site was suitable for 2 houses or potentially to rotate the properties across the site. We do note however the scale of the houses is similar to nearby housing in Corrour Road. It is unclear from the plans submitted whether the road networks original design is suitable for 4 additional parking spaces and the associated vehicle movements.
