Com­ment Details Com­menter Type: Com­munity Coun­cil Stance: Cus­tom­er objects to the Plan­ning Applic­a­tion Com­ment Reas­ons: Comment:BCCC at its meet­ing on 14 Septem­ber 2020 decided to object to this applic­a­tion. The remov­al of chim­neys from this lis­ted build­ing in a con­ser­va­tion area, is not appro­pri­ate. All of the chim­neys and their pots are vis­ible and con­trib­ute to the tra­di­tion­al sky­line and his­tory of the build­ing. We would also hope that the west gable of the old school house now exposed could be rebuilt in tra­di­tion­al gran­ite and the lis­ted build­ing appear­ance main­tained as it was ori­gin­ally constructed.
