Aviemore has one main street and it has become con­ges­ted due to recent devel­op­ments, espe­cially dur­ing busy periods.

The poorly designed gar­age causes cars to queue on Grampi­an Road to gain entrance. I would be con­cerned that 27 flats will con­trib­ute towards more con­ges­tion. What meas­ures are in place to avoid this hap­pen­ing? This may impact on emer­gency vehicles being able to pass through the vil­lage quickly and safely.

With recent devel­op­ments on Grampi­an Road not being aes­thet­ic­ally pleas­ing I would be very con­cerned that this devel­op­ment will con­trib­ute to mak­ing Aviemore an unat­tract­ive village.
