This document contains representations and objections to a planning application (2023/0245/DET) for a touring motorhome/caravan site on land north of Birchview, Dalwhinnie. Members of the public object to the proposal for several reasons, including potential environmental damage to wildlife habitats and the risk of fire, loss of privacy for nearby residents, increased flood risk, insufficient infrastructure (water supply, drainage, electricity and broadband), light and noise pollution, and incompatibility with local development plans. Concerns were also raised about discrepancies in submitted plans, the site's unsuitability for the proposed use given its remote location and the potential strain on the village's resources.
