Dear Ms. Tindall,

Re: APP/2023/0867 Intern­al adjust­ments per­tain­ing to con­ver­sion of apart­ments at the Inver­cauld Arms Hotel. The plans for the above were con­sidered by Aber­deen­shire South Access Pan­el Monday 12^th June 2023.

The Pan­el has the fol­low­ing com­ments:- Con­sid­er­a­tion should be giv­en for pro­vi­sion of Dis­abled Park­ing at a ratio of 1:20 Hav­ing had the dis­cus­sion re access­ible kit­chen fit­ments in at least one of the apart­ments with you this past year, we wondered which are the fully access­ible apartments.

The Pan­el thought it would be bene­fi­cial if some of us could do a site vis­it to the Hotel, as with such a large pro­ject we found it dif­fi­cult to envis­age from the plans. You may recall a vis­it was made to the Fife Arms Hotel both before and after com­ple­tion. Our mem­bers have exper­i­ence of liv­ing with dis­ab­il­it­ies. We do hope this can be arranged.

The com­ments are addi­tion­al to the require­ments of the Build­ing Stand­ards Veri­fi­er and are to assist you in work­ing towards meet­ing your duties under The Equal­ity Act 2010 and BS8300. The Pan­el asks that their com­ments are giv­en due consideration.
