Dear CNPA

At the meet­ing of the Bal­later and Crath­ie Com­munity Coun­cil last night, 12^th Janu­ary 2026, it was agreed that BCCC would with to sup­port this application.

How­ever, as in rela­tion to all mat­ters with­in the Dee Catch­ment, BCCC would ask CNPA to ensure that this applic­a­tion is con­sidered care­fully by the Dee Resi­li­ence Strategy Group and thought giv­en as to wheth­er any pos­sible modi­fic­a­tions to this pro­posed scheme might have enhanced addi­tion­al bene­fits to oth­er rel­ev­ant issues such as improve­ments to the water table or reduc­tion in flood­ing risk, in addi­tion to the clear eco­lo­gic­al value.
