Comment Details Commenter Type: Member of Public Stance: Customer made comments in support of the Planning Application Comment Reasons: Comment:It is my belief that this application greatly improves on the previous application for these premises and in particular, given the clarity that the flats will be designed and used for short term holiday occupation, the design maximises the space available without detrimental impact on the frontage, improves the front and rear aspects of the building and provides generally adequate space and layout for the intended purpose. The provision of eight car parking spaces for eight flats within the cartilage of the property seems appropriate since it would not normally be expected that two separate families in separate vehicles might occupy a single flat, though there is always the occasional possibility. One query, however, is that from the plans, I cannot ascertain if any one of the ground floor flats is in fact suitable for disabled occupation, including disability compliant doorways and bathroom. Clarification of this point for at least one flat would be helpful. The development overall should contribute to the economic well-being of Kingussie.
