Dear Sir / Madam

In my email of the 19^th July, I should have informed you that I am sec­ret­ary for Lag­gan Com­munity Hous­ing Ltd Reg No RS2186 Lag­gan Com­munity Hous­ing owns houses 6 of the 10 houses at Strath­mash­ie 2 of our houses are num­bers 9 & 10. They are very per­turbed at the thought of yet more lor­ries passing up what we believe was/​is a forestry road.

There are also a num­ber of people includ­ing our ten­ants that are very con­cerned that the Dis­til­lery is pro­pos­ing to gate this road.

As this road has been for many years con­sidered to be an offi­cial route up into the Glen, for work­ers, cyc­list from Wolftrax use it reg­u­larly. SSE used it when build­ing the Mel­garve sub-sta­tion and will no doubt expect to use it again when main­ten­ance work is required. Forest Scot­land will be using it in the near future to remove trees at present being felled. So allow­ing the Dis­til­lery to gate this road would cause much angst in the com­munity against the Dis­til­lery. Not I am sure what the Dis­til­lery want if their Com­munity Con­sulta­tions are to be believed.

Lag­gan Com­munity Hous­ing Ltd. would still like a copy of the plans as the road / forest track do con­cern the ten­ants of not just the ten­ants of Not 9 & 10 but all of the res­id­ents who need that track for access, and as I stated below have still not man­aged to down load the plans from your website.
