This document contains information regarding a proposed wind farm called Cloiche, located southwest of the Cairngorms National Park. The Scottish Government Energy Consents & Deployment Unit (ECDU) is consulting on additional information for an application for the project. The Cairngorms National Park Authority (Park Authority) objects to the wind farm due to significant adverse effects on the Park's landscape and special qualities, as outlined in the Cairngorms National Park Partnership Plan (NPPP). NatureScot (formerly Scottish Natural Heritage, SNH) has also advised that the wind farm would negatively impact the landscape, even with a reduction in the number of turbines.
