Alvie Primary school is at full capa­city. We have an extremely high pro­por­tion of hol­i­day homes and this devel­op­ment would exacer­bate this issue, what we need is Afford­able homes and Rent­als. The CNPA require­ment in Aviemore is 45% Afford­able Homes and yet this devel­op­ment is under 20%. The hous­ing adja­cent to this devel­op­ment is 28 homes so 70+ seems excess­ive. The CNPA set­tle­ment object­ives are deliv­ery of hous­ing to meet loc­al needs, par­tic­u­larly afford­able housing.
