Item 8 AALDP Monitoring Report

This document contains the Local Development Plan 2015 Monitoring Report for the Cairngorms National Park, prepared by Nina Caudrey, Planning Officer (Development Planning). It gives an overview of how the Cairngorms National Park Local Development Plan (LDP) 2015 was used by the National Park Authority and local councils from 2015 to 2020. The LDP was adopted on 27 March 2015 and was the first development plan covering the whole of the National Park. During the monitoring period, there were 1,790 applications with a 95% approval rate. Policy 3: Sustainable Design was the most frequently referred to policy by both the Cairngorms National Park Authority and local councils. This is the final monitoring report for the 2015 LDP, but policy use information will continue to be monitored for the 2020 LDP.
