COMMUNITY COUNCIL COMMENTS

BOAT OF GARTEN AND VICINITY COMMUNITY COUNCIL RESPONSE TO APPLICATION ΝΟ 2019/0215/DET

1) We do not wish to object to this application as we are in general support of it. However we would be grateful if the following comments could be taken into consideration: 2) We like the general design of properties and the mix of houses and single storey and the materials being used.

3) There is no indication from Highland Council Roads Department that they have made any comment. There is significant concern about the junction at the A95.

4) We are very concerned that the proposed path to the village will not be suitable because it meets up with Milton Loch which is a very important area of Biodiversity. We made this point in our previous response but consider that we MUST make it again. This was commented on by BOGWIG(Boat of Garten Wildlife Group) ourselves and the Community Company. We understand it was also commented on by the Access Officer from CNPA who also had concerns. We understand the Rookery is to be kept.

We would like some reassurance on all these matters.
