LOAF Consultation
- It is anticipated that the LOAF will be involved at three stages in the development of the revised Active Cairngorms: a. Review of existing strategy outcomes b. Providing advice and guidance on themes and relevant outcomes c. Commenting on final draft and supporting plan for CNPA Board approval.
Project Management
- To drive forward the redevelopment of Active Cairngorms the CNPA will appoint a Project Board to oversee this area of work. The Project Board has the following duties:
• To be accountable for success or failure of the project
• To provide unified direction to the project and Project Manager
• To provide the resources and authorize the funds for the project
• To provide visible and sustained support for the Project Manager
• To ensure effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders.
- While key roles on the project board will relate to governance internally to the CNPA a critical role of required is the representative of users, whose main purpose is to ensure quality for stakeholders. It is proposed that the LOAF chair fulfils this role.
