Statement of Conformity with the Participation Statement

This document contains a Statement of Conformity regarding the Cairngorms National Park Authority's (CNPA) preparation of the Local Development Plan 2020 (LDP2). It explains how the CNPA met the requirements of the Planning Act 2006 by consulting and involving the public in creating the Proposed LDP. The CNPA used a variety of methods to engage the community including distributing information to council offices and libraries, using social media and video, holding public events, and working with community organisations, and they have worked to ensure that the documents are easy to understand, and feedback was used to inform changes to the Proposed LDP.
