Strathdon Community Action Plan 2025

This document contains the Strathdon Community Action Plan, which was updated from the 2017 version to reflect the community's changing needs and support funding and planning efforts, with encouragement from the Cairngorms National Park Authority and Aberdeenshire Council. The Strathdon Community Development Trust (SCDT) conducted a "What the Community Wants" exercise in 2022 and 2023, and held an open day in November 2024 to present the results and gather further input, which was the result of a big conversation. The plan aims to address long-term goals related to the environment and economy, encouraging residents and businesses to envision the community's future by 2030 by focusing on community assets, health, employment, housing, infrastructure, and activities for young people. The document highlights community priorities and projects, emphasizing the need for community involvement and support, values and priniciples to underpin projects, and future steps for action.
