The Scottish wild mushroom code

This document contains the Scottish Wild Mushroom Code, created by the Scottish Wild Mushroom Forum. It gives advice on how to safely and responsibly collect wild mushrooms in Scotland, respecting both the environment and the rights of landowners. It highlights the importance of mushrooms to the ecosystem, advises only collecting what you need, and being able to identify what you are picking, including avoiding rare or poisonous varieties. The code also gives advice for land managers and those planning forays or collecting for scientific purposes.
