Community Led Vision Fund
The Cairngorms Community Led Vision Fund was established by the Cairngorms Trust and the Cairngorms National Park Authority. Using Scottish Government community-led local development funding, the fund aims are to deliver inclusive community-based activity to meet one or more Scottish Government's key priorities.
These priorities are:
- Tackling the climate emergency
- Eradicating child poverty
- Growing the economy
- Ensuring high quality and sustainable public services
This year the fund is focused on capital projects, with limited revenue support available. Considering the priorities listed above, the Cairngorms Community Led Vision Fund is inviting projects to complete an expression of interest form via the Cairngorms Trust website, including details of capital projects that you wish to deliver in the current financial year (April 2025 to March 2026).
The fund will seek to support projects and actions that are not supported from other national programme funds or financial allocations. Where a project is supported by such funds, the Cairngorms Trust will consider a grant that supports additional elements that are not covered by the other funding on offer.
All projects will need to be completed by 22 March 2026.
What will the fund support?
Cairngorms Community Led Fund encourages applications from businesses (micro and small enterprises) and groups for projects that will deliver for the communities of the Cairngorms National Park. Projects could be completely new capital activity or capital items, or they could be additional capital within existing projects. Where possible, projects are encouraged to work in partnership with others to deliver their goals. The Cairngorms Trust would like to see a variety of applications ranging from small actions to larger, more strategic projects.
