Meeting details

Date:

Cairngorms Tourism Emergency Response Group - Via Video-Conference

All on Cairngorms Tourism Partnership,

We clearly have very challenging times ahead for our economy that is so heavily dependent on tourism. There is a lot of work going on to minimise the impacts but there is much more to do; I have listed the Key updates below. I know that you will all be focussing on the immediate crisis but if you do have any other issues for discussion in the future please do email me.
I hope you will find the information below and the new emergency response group focussing on the Park useful.
Stay well and in touch

Meeting resources

This document contains information about the Cairngorms National Park Authority's (Park Authority) response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Park Authority's offices are closed to the public, and staff are working from home, but special procedures are in place to keep things moving. A new Cairngorms Tourism Emergency Response Group is being set up to meet weekly and analyse the impact on tourism. A visitor survey has been stopped early due to the pandemic, but the collected data will be analysed. The Cairngorms Business Partnership (CPB) is providing updates to members, and links to other useful resources like Health Protection Scotland and VisitScotland are provided.
