Calling equality experts in the National Park

Join our volunteer Equality Advisory Panel and help keep inclusion at the heart of decision-making through feedback and guidance that makes a real impact.

We’re looking for expertise in areas including education, community representation, disability advocacy, socio-economic disadvantage, health and social care, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and working with ethnic minorities.

Panel member Shreoshi Das said: "Being on the panel has allowed me to contribute different perspectives while also broadening my own understanding of inclusion and accessibility in Scotland's landscapes.”

We want people to give advice and guidance through a virtual forum which meets nine times a year as well as providing support outside of scheduled meetings. The overall commitment is no more than two hours a month.

We are accepting applications until Sunday 23 August 2026. Interested? Find out more and apply here on the recruitment page of our website.
