Snow making at Cairngorm Mountain: CNPA response
Snow making at Cairngorm Mountain: CNPA response
Responding to the announcement by Highland & Islands Enterprise today (Wednesday 31 October) Grant Moir, CNPA Chief Executive said: “We welcome the news that HIE is to invest £1m in snow making equipment at Cairngorm Mountain. We share everyone’s concerns about the impact that the funicular closure will be having on local businesses and the wider community so any measures taken to help with the snowsports offering on the Mountain this winter is to be supported. The CNPA will continue to work closely with all the local partners in the response group and will make funding available for marketing this winter season in the Strath.”
