Capercaillie Lek Count Report 2025

This document contains the Capercaillie Lek Count Report for 2025, which provides an estimate of the number of breeding male capercaillie in Scotland counted at breeding sites during April and May 2025. Not all breeding males will have been present at breeding sites on the days the counts took place. This means the report cannot be used to estimate the overall UK capercaillie population.
