This document contains the Cairngorms National Park Local Development Plan 2021, which was prepared by the Cairngorms National Park Authority (Park Authority). This plan is a key document for influencing future building development within the Cairngorms National Park and guides new developments, ensuring there's enough land in suitable locations for housing, jobs, and services, while protecting the environment. The plan has sections on vision, spatial strategy, policies and community information, and covers the next 5 years with a longer view up to 20 years. The Cairngorms National Park Authority sets the planning policy, working with local authorities, and will assess planning applications in line with the Cairngorms National Park Partnership Plan and the Local Development Plan.
