This document contains the Cairngorms National Park Authority's Development Plan Scheme for 2021. This scheme, which every local authority must produce annually, sets out the plan for preparing and reviewing the Local Development Plan (LDP). It includes updates on the current and proposed plans, information on the process and timeline for adopting LDP2 and preparing LDP3, highlights changes to the Planning Act, and contains a statement on how and when public consultation will take place. The document also explains what a Development Plan is and how it guides development. The Plan covers areas such as housing, the environment, the economy and culture.
