This document contains community council comments about planning application 2018/0177/DET for the Ptarmigan Restaurant in Glenmore Aviemore. The Aviemore and Vicinity Community Council wrote a letter on 15 June 2018, stating they don't object to the application, but are concerned it's premature before a masterplan for Cairngorm Mountain is developed. They also question the need for a double-height tower, believing it will restrict views and be overpowering. In a follow-up email on 17 September 2018, the council confirmed they have no further comments and stand by their original letter.
