This document contains community council comments for planning application 2020/0193/DET, regarding the building of 23 houses and garages with associated roads, infrastructure and landscaping to the North, East and West of Dunbarry Terrace and Kerrow Drive, Kingussie. While supportive in principle, the Kingussie and vicinity Community Council (KVCC) raises objections. KVCC has concerns about construction traffic, suggesting a haul road, and safety, mentioning the current Dunbarry Road / High Street junction being unfit for the increased traffic volume. Also, there are concerns about pedestrian access and the impact on the community's transport system. The council also states that a traffic survey shows that the Dunbarry Road junction is operating significantly over capacity.
