Item 7 AA Development Plan Scheme Committee Paper

This document contains information for the Cairngorms National Park Authority's Planning Committee on 26 August 2022, regarding the Development Plan Scheme (DPS) 2022. The DPS is an annually updated scheme that all planning authorities in Scotland must produce, outlining their progress in adopting and reviewing their Local Development Plan (LDP). The current LDP for the Cairngorms National Park was adopted on 26 March 2021 and lasts for five years, so work is underway to have a new LDP (LDP3) in place by April 2026. The proposed DPS for 2022 sets out the timetable for preparing LDP3 and explains how the public can get involved, and will be published and sent to interested parties in accordance with legislative requirements.
