Resources Paper 2 Annex 1-Geographical distribution of grants and contracts

This document contains information on how the Cairngorms National Park Authority awarded its grants and contracts during the 2025/26 financial year. The Park Authority gave out over £4 million in grants, with all of this funding going to projects within the park area, largely for vital peatland restoration work. For contracts for goods and services, totalling over £2.5 million, the majority of the money went to organisations based elsewhere in Scotland, including a significant amount for designing new transport projects. When looking at all the money awarded together through both grants and contracts, about 70% of the total £6.6 million was spent within the Cairngorms National Park itself.
