Cairngorms National Park Local Development Plan 2021 Supplementary Guidance Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005
Screening determination In accordance with Section 8(1) of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005 CNPA has formally determined, in consultation with Historic Environment Scotland, Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) and NatureScot, that implementation of the supplementary guidance for the 2021 Local Development Plan (LDP) is unlikely to lead to significant environmental effects, and therefore no environmental report will be prepared.
Statement of reasons The guidance provides advice and information sources to help consideration of the relevant LDP policy in relation to development proposals. The guidance documents in themselves do not create additional requirements, actions or activities that would have environmental effects. The policies that the guidance documents support are part of the LDP, which was subject to separate SEA. Adoption of the guidance is therefore unlikely to result in significant environmental effects.
